REMEMBER…. Chickens HATE change! So when you first put these pads in the nest, they’ll likely be curious (and suspicious) and kick them around, but once they get used to them, you will find that the pads last longer and stay fresher than other traditional nesting materials. They’re easy to pull out, shake off and replace… and can be composted when they need to be changed. I only replace mine every few months.
