Description
Porcellio laevis is one hardy crustacean! These are friendly, adorable critters that can thrive with minimal attention. SHELTER I recommend keeping isopods in glass aquariums with enough room to move around, preferably a 2’x1′ surface area. Make sure the isopods have at least one “house”. This could be a large piece of bark in a corner of the habitat, or even a plastic rodent house from a local pet store.FOODThese are detritivores, which means they’ll eat pretty much anything that isn’t moving.
